A Company That Builds Companies
Telemachus is a company which makes companies in a novel way. It finds existing businesses which are good in the sense that they make lots of money (north of $10m/year in net profit), but bad in the sense that their operations are very far from the frontier of efficiency (ever more so thanks to AI). Instead of buying them or selling them software, Telemachus creates a very lean (2-4 people, all you need thanks to AI) team of people to create this new version of the company from scratch as a competitor.

For decades, the structure of company creation has remained largely unchanged. Venture capital built software startups. Private equity optimised existing firms.
Artificial intelligence changes the economics of execution. It allows small teams with the right context and tools to rebuild entire industries from the ground up.
Telemachus exists to accelerate this shift. We systematically identify businesses that should be remade and build better versions of them.
